CORK ROLLS AND SHEETS
Agglomerated cork is produced by a combined action of pressure and temperature on a mixture of cork granules of specified dimensions and a special binder.
Composition cork sheets are obtained slicing agglomerated cork blocks. Standard dimension is 900x600 mm and the thickness can is any between 0,8 and 190 mm.
Agglomerated cork rolls are obtained by a continuous peeling of a cork cylinder. They can have a maximum width of 1,24 m and thickness between 0,8 and 8 mm (normally).
Due to the low thermal conductivity levels and effective sound insulation of cork, agglomerated cork (sheets or rolls) can be used as a superior quality backing material for floating floors or as an underlay for any kind of floor covering. It is widely used on pin boards, cork specialities (gifts) and on technical applications where it is important to reproduce the characteristics of plain cork.
