Granorte has made changes to the Data Protection Policy to better protect your privacy in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 - GDPR.
During your contact with our company, we may collect personal information needed to business affairs and to comply with legal obligations. Granorte assures that any personal data is always processed in accordance with the principles of privacy legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation in a lawful, proper and transparent manner for a specific and explicit purpose. 
By using our website or by disclosing your personal data to our services, you are accepting our Data Protection Policy.

How we collect information
Granorte may collect and process personal data of customers and users of our services provided in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when visiting our website, filling a form, registering our newsletter, making inquiries, requests or orders, by getting in touch with us or in conjunction with any other activities, services, functions or resources Granorte makes available to manage the customer/user relationship.
Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance user experience. Cookies are not used to collect any personal information. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. All previously stored information can also be deleted from the internet browser.

Purpose for processing
We gather personal information to allow us to process your registration and efficiently administer transactions and deliveries, as well as using it to develop and improve our services, including, but not limited to: Providing you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you; carrying out our obligations arising from any contracts entered between us; organizing events and providing you with related information; answering to your questions and concerns; tracking the use of our products and services, to be able to create newer and better products.

Data security and data retention
We will retain control of, and responsibility for the use of any personal data you disclose to us. Granorte has put measures in place in order to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and unauthorised access.
Personal data will not be passed on by us or by our agents for use by third parties in any form whatsoever, unless we have obtained your consent or are legally required to do so.
The data processing shall be limited to what is necessary and the retention period of the personal data shall be limited to as long as necessary for the purposes of the processing.
If we become aware of a data leak that threatens to violate your rights and personal data we will inform you and the Nacional Data Protection Commission (Portuguese entity CNPD) and take care of every measure needed.

Right of access, correction and cancellation
You have the right, at any time, to revoke any granted consent to the processing of your personal data. In addition, you have the right to access, modify, correct, transfer, restrict or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact the controller at rgpd@granorte.pt. The request will be fulfilled as soon as possible and in accordance with technical possibilities.

Data Protection Policy update
This Data Protection Policy may be amended whenever we consider it necessary. The amendments become effective automatically after publication.
